«Qyluet» Cultural and spiritual center

The city of Turkistan is being revived, and the ancient city is dynamically developing as the spiritual capital of the Turkic world. New buildings erected in the city will add beauty to the city; give new meaning and a new impetus to its cultural and spiritual life. One of the new undertakings will be the cultural and spiritual center «Qyluet», which will give the architectural appearance of Turkistan a special touch.

The cultural and spiritual center «Qyluet» is a project that connects our past and future. A modern mosque and madrasah will be built in the selected historical location. This place is called historical for a reason – this mosque has existed here since the 19th century. This mosque was destroyed several times and rebuilt several times in different periods. Finally, the mosque was declared unsafe in 2020 and it was decided to build a new mosque in a modern style while preserving the main features.

The new mosque was planned based on a concept that arose at the junction of ancient Turkestan and the modern capital of southern Kazakhstan. The selection of the name for the new mosque, which will replace the old one, was not arbitrary. It is said that when our ancestor Khoja Ahmet Yassaui reached the age of a prophet, he built an underground mosque and spent the rest of his life there. The word «Qyluet» is familiar to every Kazakh in general, thanks to this legend. In addition, there are few other underground mosques in the Kazakh steppe.

A public event dedicated to the popularization of the heritage of the Turkic world, lectures related to Turkic culture, master classes and special courses will be organized in the cultural and spiritual center «Qyluet».

The construction of the cultural and spiritual center «Qyluet» is carried out with the charitable financial support of local residents and entrepreneurs.

Also, the «Qyluet» public charity fund was established to enable those who wish to financially support the project to contribute to a worthy cause.

We invite you to contribute to a good initiative.
